Scarlet has been in the industry since 2012 and dabbles in a bit of all hair sorcery. She specializes in custom color, craft haircuts, holistic haircare, and being socially awkward. She also paints and has an appreciation for the fine arts.
Scarlet’s goal in life is to make an environment where all people are welcome and appreciated, she opened Knoxville’s first judgement free salon with Salon Absinthe in 2015 but has sense morphed into the way of thinking that judgement free should be standard, she’s pleased to offer a safe space where anyone can come in, have a few laughs, and check out of reality for awhile.
Scarlet’s work has been featured in many local publications and news sources. She’s also been featured in Modern Salon and Cityview best of the best. Ask her about her news appearances- she hates talking about it. 🙂

I’m Barbie Elizabeth, I have been transforming hair full-time since 2014.
I’ve specialized in short cuts and barbering services most of my career, but I absolutely love working with all hair types and creating both feminine and masculine styles. My services also include hair replacements, extensions, perms, and color work- mainly brunettes and vivid shades.
When I’m not behind the chair you can find me being a dog and cat mom to Honda and Gucci -the cutest babies ever, of course.
